Ok, I’m not a die hard Idol fan, but I will follow it a bit (mostly through my wife’s addiction to it…) However, this definitely threw me for a loop. In a time where the tendency is to remove all mentions of Christ, Faith, God, and Christianity for all things television, American Idol does Praise. I know the bottom line of this was for ratings and promotion, but it was still refreshing to see a worship song on mainstream TV!
